Five and Tesselar Tulip

This is not about my favourite child story “the Famous Five” written by Enid Blyton. This is about us, five students of Master of Accounting Monash University, intake 2016. Four of us are Australian awardees, while one is LPDP awardee. We have spent time almost a year at Monash University, but three of us (I, Imam, and Putri) have met since May 2015 when we were students at IALF Jakarta. On Thursday, 22 September 2016, we had afternoon tea time together after attending class of Financial Reporting Issues. It was the first time we spent time together apart from studying group. What a wonderful afternoon. These are some pictures of us

Tesselar Tulip Festival 2016

On Wednesday, 29 September 2016 I and mas Isan went to Silvan. The location of this festival is at The Tulip Farm, 357 Monbulk Rd, Silvan, Victoria, a city near mountains. It took almost 3 hours from Clayton. We should go to Blackburn station from Monash shuttle station, then we took train to Lilydale and continued to Silvan by bus.

I was amazed by the beauty of a million Tulips with lots of varieties, across 25 acres of farmland. Visitor must pay 26 dollar to enter this farm, however, lucky us that only had to pay 22 dollar since we got concession tickets.

Here are some pictures taken when I was there.
